How to Connect Your Audio Bridge in Adobe Connect

Before we get started, here’s a quick checklist of what you’ll need:

  • Latest Firefox Web Browser

  • Audio Connection: Cellphone/Landline or a Headset with Google Voice or Skype

  • Webcam

Once you enter the session, you will first be prompted to connect your audio. Here are the two options and how to connect. We recommend the Dial-out option.

1. Dial-out is the best way to connect to the audio bridge. Enter your phone number into the dialogue box and click Join. Within a few seconds, you will receive a call and be prompted to join the audio conference. Press 1 on your phone to complete the connection.

2. Dial-in: Call the US (Toll-free) number. Scroll down in the text box to view the codes and tokens. When prompted, enter the passcode (Participant Passcode) followed by the pound sign (#).

  • The dial-in option will also require you to put in a token. There is NO prompt for this action. Simply wait until the automated voice is finished and then enter the token code in the “Join Audio Conference” box.

  • You will not need to enter the last asterisk (*) after the token. The automated voice may start again when you begin to dial the token. Please ignore this.

  • Once complete, the dialogue box (left) will disappear and you will be fully connected.

3. Once you’re connected to the audio bridge, you’ll also need to connect your webcam. Click on the camera icon and select Start My Webcam

4. During the session, you can choose to mute or disconnect your phone by clicking on the phone icon.
