You will need to download the Zoom app in order to seamlessly join and run Zoom meetings on your laptop or desktop computer.
The app is available to download here: https://zoom.us/support/download. You can either download the Zoom app in advance of your first meeting, or the app will download when you enter Zoom a meeting for the first time.
Once you click on the link, you will be brought to this page and the download will begin automatically:
If the download does not begin right away, click on the blue link, “restart the download.”
Once downloaded, you will need to click on the Zoom Installer download to open and run it. No other action will be needed, and you are all set to attend Zoom meetings.
Locating a download is different on every computer and browser. Downloads will generally appear in the toolbar of your browser when they are ready to be opened. You can also open the downloads folder on your computer and it will appear there.
